Do I need to install anything to get started?

For most monitor types (HTTP(s), Ping, Port, DNS, SSL, Domain, Blacklist) there is nothing to install beyond configuring the MyMonitor365 platform itself. Log monitoring requires our lightweight open-source agent on the server whose logs you want to watch.

How do I create my first monitor?

Once logged in, click New Monitor from the Monitors page. Select the monitor type, enter the host or URL, configure your alert thresholds and notification channels, and save. Your monitor starts running immediately — no restart or deployment step needed.

How fast does MyMonitor365 check my services?

Accepted Answer

Check intervals depend on your plan. Personal plans check every 5 minutes, Pro plans every 1 minute, Team and Enterprise plans every 30 seconds. You can configure the interval per monitor so critical services are checked more frequently than lower-priority ones.

What is the difference between HTTP/HTTPS monitoring and a Ping check?

A Ping check verifies that a host is reachable at the network level — it tells you the server is online. An HTTP/HTTPS monitor goes further: it makes a real HTTP/HTTPS request, verifies the response status code, optionally checks for specific content in the page, and measures Time to First Byte. A server can respond to pings while its web application is broken, so it is best to use both for critical services.

How does SSL certificate monitoring work?

MyMonitor365 connects to the TLS endpoint of your domain and reads the certificate metadata — issuer, subject, and expiry date. You configure how many days before expiry you want to be alerted (for example, 30 days, 14 days, and 7 days). You will receive email and configured notifications well in advance so you can renew without an outage.

MyMonitor365 sends email alerts by default. Paid plans also support SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, Zapier, Pushbullet, Miro, Trello, and Jira Service Management. You can configure which channels receive alerts per monitor.
